Risky Domain Names

I hope this will not be considered off subject, as it can affect all who run a web site. Beware of using a fully descriptive name of your web site. Remember though it might be alright for the big players like Yahoo, Google,  YouTube etc who no doubt will still be around for hundreds of years, you have to continue to pay for the Domain Name for eternity, if you do not wish it to fall into the hands of some Advertising agency itching to take advantage of any success you have made in publicising the name.

As an example look what has happened to the name of our Amateur Radio Club listed first below, because someone ceased to pay for the Domain Name in favour of a shorter name. As you can see from the second site below I manage, what has Love Spells, Dating  and Loans to do with UK Amateur Radio?
