STR$ - converts a numeric variable to a string
VAL - converts a string to a numeric variable.

nr1$ = STR$(10)

Trust me, it's much faster Wink Just so you know, now nr1$ = " 10", with a space in front. To fix that:

nr1$ = LTRIM$(STR$(10))
