Here's a GUI/graphical lib I almost finished then dropped. No documentation or source (but I can put it together if you want it). Run buildlib.exe to rebuild the library or run guidemo.bas (with vasm.qlb) to see a demo of the gui:

Hmm, I've looked at RelLib, ComsoX, and DirectQB. So far I like DirectQB, but it's a close call between RelLib and DirectQB. CosmoX is out of the question because I can only handle one EMS layer instead of the indefinite number that I can use in DirectQB. The bad thing about RelLib for my uses is that it has no CollideOnLayer function such as the one DirectQB has. Therefore, collision detection would be a lot more hell than it already is for me. Also, what's the difference between DirectQB and RelLib? Which is faster? Which is more efficient? Etc, etc.

I'm looking at UGL and it looks pretty clean, and the documentation is a hellofa lot more organized than the formers. Although it looks like it gives you a lot more control over pretty much everything, it also looks like a lot more work to do for simple things (which is always the catch when you have more control).

EDIT: Thanks for the delete function Mr. Admin.

Huh? No collideonlayer?

relcollide=collideOnLayer
relcollideSprB=BoxBound Spr tp Spr collision
relcollideSpr = Pixel perfect collision.

And they are all very fast. ;*)

You could always test it yourself(ie. who's much speedier) ;*))

That looks awesome...but why do you imitate the MS-Windows-Style.....why don't you make your own style??? I think that would be alot better

QUICKPAK PROFESSIONAL:
Incredible library of mostly assembler written routines, developed by Ehan Winer.
I first used this on the job several years ago. It was so good that I purchased it for my personal use at home, and I still use it.
Take the time to read the full description at:
www.ethanwiner.com/p_qpro.htm
It's worth the $199 for the entire package with manual and source code. Maybe you guys know where to get a free copy.
