Quote:Unfortunately, most people in majour cities (and their suburbs) in America between the ages of 8 and 25 do talk like that, and have absolutely no substance or intellegence to them. But oh well...

That's because american kids watch waaaaay too much TV... and spend too long in forums on the 'net

I watch hardly any TV, and when I do..... it's cartoon network o_O

I say "Yo" and "dude" all the time, but "g'dog" is for dumbass white boys and the wanna-be-punk black kids.
am an asshole. Get used to it.

Americans talk like thugs as often as french people say things like "auh hauh hauh" and scottish people say "ach" and spanish/latino people say "ai chi wa wa".

I... uuuuh... don't really use any kind of slang at all. I don't use American slang, Australian slang is just stupid...

Sometimes I use programmer slang, I suppose, if using words like 'elegant' and 'kludge' can be considered slang anymore. Jargon and slang dialects generally just get in the way of communication. Sure, they're fine withing smaller groups, but try talking to a cockney if you live in Bangkok or something...

If I use any slang, it would be words made up by Maoris that they adapted off of TV (watching american shows  ), words like "wassup", "aue bae" (pronounced very similar to "ow bay", meaning "really bro?"), and other words like that.

Sorry, I can't help but nitpick... Smile I usually speak using the vibrating membrane in my neck, while I usually type using the 10 digits attached to my hands. Smile But yeah, in real life I never use slang. In forums, I use slang to show how stupid I really am. Smile
