I know. Another reason to do it. And I know it's bad code, but does anyone expect good coding from me....? Didn't think so. But anyway, there is (of course) a better way to solve this, just read it in a tut on the internet somewhere....
About the 1.1 manual: it's very strange that that (grmblw) is displayed on my comp, since I use 4.5. Looks like it does start a combination of the 1.1 and 4.5 version, because it shows other options in the menu's (exit in DOS shell (?) was an option, and isn't displayed right now, but 'make an exe' is.). Strange thing, must have happened because I started some thingies made in 1.1......

GOTO is bad code only if you use it bad. Only good programmers know how to use GOTO properly Big Grin

Oh nO! I just meant that you can use GOTO if you know what you are doing, and learning to use GOTO properly can save you time and make your program more efficient. But it is a double-edged weapon, 'cause if you don't use it properly your program can become spaghetti a la bolognesa.

BanAnna: If you have not discovered it the past week, you have at the Options menu a Full Menus option you can check. This will make appear "Shell to DOS" and all menus you are missing.

All:
Well, if good programmers use GOTOS what do you thing about one that likes to use GOSUB?

Small note: why do you need to pass variables to a GOTO? Ain't they already in the same module?

Ah... no, I didn't notice it. Thanks for the tip, Antoni. I'll look at it as soon as I get home, or somewhat afterwards.....
