/The Residents/ attempt to take music to strange new levels and at the same time destroy American culture. Suits me
 . They're like the musical version of the impressionists. Think of less angry Tool using experimental genre. Or a crazier Ween. Basically, I just like them because they don't try to make sense. In fact, they try /not/ to make sense. It goes against all previous musical philosophies....and they're mysterious!
