Why couldn't you set up a voting thingy in another forum, like QB in general? We all know it would be a one off, so admin and the rest of us wouldn't care. And I think you should have provided a direct download to all the files, because only really interested people would copy 7 files (even more cos rel did two versions of his) into notepad, save as .bas... I kept an archive. Set it up again in General, and provide a link to

I'm thinking wildcard has a reason for not letting any polls be created here by everyone.
Since wildcard is away, and since I can see no harm in having a poll about this, and since it seems to be defeating the purpose of having a challenge (not being able to choose a winner), I'll go ahead and make a poll for this challenge, if you still want one. (It appears MOD's and ADMIN's can create polls in here). This way I won't be changing any forum configuration without wildcards knowing first, and you can have your poll too. (I really want to vote
)
I think, for now, this is the only way to do it. Yes, I know I'm an admin and can turn it on, but this is wildcards place, and I feel the same way as if I was in his house -- not gonna change his furniture around without letting him know first. (I will keep it clean for him though.
)

About the rant: Of course I understand this is wildcard's site and that you all want to know his opinion before doing something. It is what I should do, also. My point was that it is just starting a poll to vote a challenge, something completely harmless. I didn't expected you ("plural" you
) to change the forum or something, I just wanted to kindly set up a poll for me. Maybe it was my fault 'cause I did not express myself correctly. If so, sorry 'bout that.
