awesome! just some notes:

1) the environments are static. is this to change? it appears as if it's being redrawn every frame, you might as well render a real time image and use a depth map for culling like in old adventure games and newer survival horrer games.

2) i get 18fps, but as a comparison, blitz's quake renderer operates at 150fps. now, i know it's laying down 1/4 the pixels in a simpler screen mode, but that's a pretty big difference.

3) some of the background is a little flickery. it's not that big a problem, i dont mind, but check it out and see if it's something simple.

4) my voodoo can render it *crowd gasps*. what screen mode are you using?

anyhow, it's a really cool demo, and when you release it, i'm sure it's going to be the most elaborate, coolest qb game to come (though i said the same of oblivion). great job, and i hope to see more to come!

Way cool, really. Big Grin In the lower resolution it was a little flickery, but that virutally disappeared with the higher resolution. My computer isn't the greatest, so I was only getting like 5/6 walking FPS in both resolutions. It looks really good, though it's a little hard to tell where you're going on the platform at the top of the stairs. Mini-map helps but is still kind of difficult without a directional indicator. Any plans for a moving camera or is it gonna stay static?

i just uploaded a new version that doubles the fps while moving. i was getting 5-6 also, now im getting 10-14. yea, automatic camera switching is planned along with, ofcouse, walking animation >)
