When you say (in effect) that what someone does with their spare time is their own business, you are correct-- as long as they do keep it their own business. Also, to my mind, being a dickhead or pervert is a relative thing-- you obviously consider me a dickhead, and I obviously consider darth_binary a pervert (He was among the "unmentioned names").

I never intended to call you a dickhead. And I think I didn't. If I sounded like that, please excuse me. In other order of things, I don't get your point: he has only announced that he would made a game with a determinate thematic, what's wrong with that? I see that you don't like those kind of games, but why, upon your opinion, are they harmful to the rest of games?

For example, I don't like RTSs at all (as I dislike almost 99.9% of so called "sex videogames", as a side note), 'cause I consider them boring and terribly stupid, from my very own point of view. I can't understand how people can spend money in them, and more of that: I can't understand how people can spend hours of their life with them. But that doesn't make me feel biased against people who like RTSs, or against the RTS genre. I just don't play RTSs. I am not saying that I prefer or that I like/enjoy sex games (in fact I *generally* and *most likely* DON'T!!) . My point is: why are you shouting at this guy only for announcing that he is gonna code an specific genre?

On the "unmentioned names" note, I only keep names unmentioned because who I hate is, at least in part, my own business. Considering yourself to be automatically among the names is either egotistical or paranoid. I could write a list, if you like, though I don't see the point.

May I then beg your pardon, but I felt among those names 'cause your post was just below mine and you weren't quoting anybody, so I understood that you were replying me. Next time I'll try not being so paranoid. Also, please *understand* that my previous post was not made in a harsh way, and I think you have misunderstud or maybe taken my words out of context. My post wasn't a flame against you but a rant against what you had said, only 'cause I had a different opinion. I really hope you didn't get angry 'cause this is a "discussion forum" and what I was doing was "discuss" a topic. But I honestly fear that you were upset since your first post in this thread...

Also, there is also the chance that someone who throws a stone and then hides their hand is not only cowardly but also intelligent and/or tactful. I don't know when tact became a bad thing, but, presumably at your bequest, I threw it out the window.

C'mon guy, I replied your post only for one reason: It didn't seem tactful to me at all. May it be a lack of smilies or my fault misunderstunding a language that isn't my own, but in your post there were many bold expressions.

Calm down people! It was a stupid idea I guess. I actually do remember a QB game with hard-core'ish Hentai. Can't remember the name of it but it was a platform game. Did the coder of that receive much flak? Well anyway I'm not gonna make this Sex Sim, I'm working on a text game called "Dealers".

Wha? In fact, the 1st flack I've received is yours, telling that my game is hardcore hentai. Hardcore? Hentai?

(as a side note, hentai means "pervert" in japanese, and it is used to describe such manga comics where the main topic is sex, that is, hentai = porn comics).

In my game you have just less than 10 depictions of nude (notice: not naked) goddesses in hieratic actitude, not posing. There isn't anything sexual in my game. Zero. Nada.

There is the same amount of sex in my game than in Ms Pacman. Only that my game's character looks better than Ms Pacman.

Maybe the world isn't prepared to admire beauty itself. In fact, I consider more a pervert who finds gross in beauty than who depicts such beauty. Beauty isn't the same as sex. Mind you

um, nate, naked is a much less accusatory word than nude. naked just refers to the literal sense of having no outer covering, like the naked eye or the naked truth. nude refers specifically to a naked person and has many more connotations to porn.

the only sex game i know in qb are those ones clarita makes. I personally dont take to them, but instead of spending my time giving the authors crap i just dont play them. Same goes for any game i dont want to play. Nobody's forcing anyone to actually play a game.

On the subject of sex games, the reason i dont play them, besides the lack of taste, is that there arent that many games focused on such an act that seem like any fun to play. If it's for perversion, than buy a magazine or something, but I can't think of a way to make "sex" have good gameplay.

Okay, I came in here to read a little and then laugh at you, I admit it... But I just had this sudden rememberance of some old program in DOS mode (I suppose that's actually called real mode, but you never know) where you have to rub this girl's leg and everything and then work her up to orgasm...
