why do i keep getting these "ads" that are talking about searching the web. they are those stupid annoying ones without a minimize, maximize, or close button. is it just my internet provider? or the site?
(internet provider is Internet Explorer)

Yeah, and the unvaluable pal to every Opera download lies on Kazaa: the almighty key generator.

Yeah, I use mozilla too, but I tried Opera before and I had to do that keygen search stuff.
Now I am a fellow mozilla user.

I've been mozilla since I started in linux. However, I can't get Java to run in linux, and haven't been bothered to try and fix it.
Ads with no close button? Maybe they're inline frames? :???:
And you really want a superfast, truely open source browser that doesn't run any server-side stuff like Java and VBscript? Get OEMbrowser (google it, I can't remember the address).
