Using beep in windows 98
#1
Windows has overwritten the interrupt for BEEP to use their own sound (which does not work well in my programs).
How can I use the PC speaker sound for BEEP while I run a program, then restore the Windows settings on termination.

You could use the SOUND command instead.

Or PLAY.
For instance, PLAY "<l64a" sound a lot like BEEP.
f only life let you press CTRL-Z.

Freebasic is like QB, except it doesn't suck.

put a pan over your head and bludgeon it. The ringing will never go away Smile No person with a heart uses that accursed pc speaker
