How to change SVGA refesh rates under DOS?
#1
SVGA in DOS. Looks nice, but only 60Hz. This is only acceptable at dark space shooter games, but not at bright ones! Have You ever played a modern game with WinXP? - then You should know what I'm talking about.

Use UniRefresh.

I would use it, but it's only shareware. I don't like using those "expires after xxx days" softwares. Is there anything for free to do this?

It doesn't expire. You can use it for as long as you want. (It's only $15 anyways, geez.)

The problem is that $15 is high for Hungarians... I haven't got the money to throw out for that few things that run SVGA under DOS Sad

Is there anything for free? Because I could not find but not working ones.

I found two others which are free, and downloaded UniRefresh too but I ran in a new problem. My VBE is only 2.0, and I can't use any of them! Do You have any ideas to change it?
