Nahh, I just sat down one day and decided to make some demos. Sent some snippets to Jocke,Joe and Dav for FPS's. After that tweaked the effects and compiled it to one big demo.
Tweaked as in....
1. Floormapped Plasmas
2. Pseudo-phong shaders
3. 101 blobs at 87 FPS on my machine
4. Translucency(Glenzing) over gouraud. ;*)
I have a few that didn't make it.
1. Plasma on blobs(translucent over solid)
2. Warped(oscillating cube)
3. Disco torus
4. Elastic blobs
5. Rgb fire
6. RGBlobs
7. Fish-eye effect(think Castlevania 4)

87FPS on your old thing? wow... I selected the >800mHz option and only got 45 or something, so I'll run it again with the other options.

I just seen your awesome demo... First i thougth you were using Rel Lib, then i realized it ws pure QB..Really great..
15 or more effects and you did'nt runt out of space!
Btw I see you managed to extract images from GIF's..

i think rellib was written in pure qb, so it would't be much different...
well, it would be (i guess) slower, but smaller in filesize if rel used
rellib......

Actually no. Rellib is made in ASM(mostly). RelGFX is the pureQB one. ;*)
