All fine Smile As long as we have enough contestants. And I really hope so!

Come'on guys! Any one else trying to tackle the problem? Wink

I've got a file packer about 50% done already...supports RLE, Huffy, and LZW, unlimited directory structure, self-extracting, etc. It's command-line only though. GUIs are waste of time. Tongue

Cool Plasma! Great you got Run Length Encoding (RLE), Huffman Compression and Lempel Ziv Welch (LZW) in it! Smile

To all people: I'm awaiting entries! Wink Just a tip: it might be handy to submit your program before the deadline, because you can then still re-submit if you wish!

Yow. Have you already gotten it under 64k, or are you going to have to remove a few features?

Speaking of that 64k rule... does that refer to everything, or just the source code for the package manager, or what? Do include files count?

All source code YOU wrote will be included in the 64 kB file size limit. Mainly, only the packer's code will be counted, not the qb routines' source.

No, it's well over 64k. I didn't write it for the contest.

That's it: Game over, suckers Wink

I haven't recieved a single entry!!!

Just in case you *were* thinking of entering, I'm giving everybody 24 hours from the time of this post to send them to me!

You could even send in something useless and you'd win at the moment Wink.

So, Moneo&co, send them in already!
