Urgent : reading .h and .cc files
#1
These suffixes are C code... but what can I do to read them if they're not textfiles?

They are textfiles. It's just that some c programs are saved in UNIX text format.

You should be able to open most cc and h files in any text editor like notepad.

Yes, I can read these files OK now I have this reader from Antechinus.

All I need in fact is a smart text editor that would convert this Unix format into MS text files.

Just a confirmation: h files look like QB .bi files, while cc files are equivalent to .bas. Is that correct ?

Yep. And ConText can open Unix text files. So can MS Visual Studio, and possibly Word too I think.

The problem is just end of lines?
Just open the files with DOS edit and save them. After that you will be able to open them with Notepad or any other Win editor.
