Unwanted messages
#1
You know when you are on the web and some annoying messages pop up in a msgbox style, saying stuff like Hi or you're dead. I was talking to someone a while back and he said that there was a way to turn them off, but he couldn,t remember how. Anyone know?

Microsoft XP update.

Some computers actually won't allow the update to install for some reason.

If it actually is a standard windows message box popup then you can get rid of em by disabling the "Messenger Service" in the windows Services thingy under Administration Tools (Assuming you're running Windows 2000 or XP).

Ah. But it's still a security flaw, rite?
