For my new project i was looking for raytracers cq modellers, to draw nice intro sneakpeaks, or evens movies.
I tried POV-RAY, but it's textbased and its pretty hard to master, does anyone know of an easy to use (free, ain't realy nescesarry (kazaa hehe))...
I need to draw pretty complex objects, i tried using raydream, wich was good, but still not very easy...
xpect to see some great stuff from us...

You mean an8 is no good? Well if that's your opinion...
(I'm not going to start a flamewar...)
I hard that blender is hard to use (I have never used it),
and personally I think an8 is easy to use and has a nice GUI
so If youre new in 3D art then you can maybe learn the basic stuff
in an8 and then move on to for example blender...
And Nink: There's alsso better/faster programming languages
than QB but still there is this wonderful board here dedicated to QB

Thanks dudes.. 8)
That anim8 proggie looks realy cool, it took me less than a minute to draw a nice looking object...
And its pretty small, i'll see what I can do with it. Haven't tried blender yet...

Well I don't know what experience you have in 3D graphics
but I tested blender today, and it has zillions of buttons
everywhere, so it's definetly for the more (most) advanced user
(that means: I stick with an8  ) well there is a forum and
tutorials at the place I linked to in my previous post... good luck!

Tried blender too, seems to be pretty proffesional (Raydream is easier but cost $500 or so)..
Let see what I can do with it.
But yeah i'm totally noob when it comes to 3d modelling...
an8or seems to be dead though... site was last modified 1999.
