Yes AVL does require an FPU ( coprocessor ). And UGL works on ALL cards with 320x200x8 with ONE page. It simply uses mode 13h. However the highres mode doesn't work on latest ATI cards and voodoo.

Blame ATI and 3DFX for not doing a proper real mode VESA bios. How many times must i have this discussion? So what? It works on all computer, just not with 16 bit color.
