And...I've started learning C++. With the Borland compiler, mind. I couldn't find any tutorials that teach C++ *based on dev-c++*. If you could find one, I'll switch over.

there's a host of tutorials at bloodshed.net you can use. But C/++ is C/++ is C/++. You dont need to learn for a specific compiler if you can learn how to code it. remember, dev-c++ is just an ide. It uses mingw, a port of gcc.
PS: washington was 6'4 too. coincidence? I think not.
