JRPG engine development kit released!
#1
After getting a couple requests, I've decided to completely release the DJRPG development kit, the software I use to create content for JRPG engine games. It's completely public domain, and can be found at http://djrpg.sourceforge.net.

Sounds cool, but isn't it in VB? Also, the links on the page don't work. (Don't know if it's just me or not..)

Whats QB 8.0?

all he's saying is that vbdos is basically another version of qbasic (therefore qb 8.0, because there's a 7.0, so the next version (vbdos) would be 8.0)

Yep. I didn't change a single line of code moving it from pds 7.1 to vbdos. The only reason I did it was the pds compiler freaked out on me one day and started compiling at quarter speed. I think even with the split up files, it's still possible to compile in pds. I just don't feel like it, because I like vbdos's IDE, but it's not vb code in any way other than being compiled with a vbdos compiler.

it's not qb 8.0, but it's the most optimized version of qb, which isnt saying much. Doesnt have the famous ide, though, it changed it out for a window-based one.

Would libraries built for PDS work with it?

(Also, still can't get a link to work from the sourceforge page. Do you have a direct link I could use?)

The sourceforge link is the full link...

I think http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/djrpg might work as well.
