Hey, evry1. 2 days ago I truly discovered the MOD file format. Well, more like a week n a half ago, but 2 days ago I stopped being lazy and d/l MODPlug Tracker, which by the way is a great program (Thanks a mil, Plasma! Smile )

Anyways, Since then I have made a total of 2 MODS.

Here's the first one:

Here's the second one:

I'd appreciate your input... Hopefully I will have another one done by l8r 2day, early 2morrow... How hard I work will be proportional to the response I get. Tongue

Thanx, enjoy the tunes.

P.S. Why can't I use HTML?! Tongue jw...

Then you should try the experience, man. If you have a new computer, find the original DOOM II in an abandonware site (6 Megs). Then find and download "Doomsday", which is just a new version of Doom which allows you to play DOOM using your hardware accelerator card in Windows, so you get better aesthetics. Even more if you download the huge set of new, hi-res textures (almost 194 Mb) and the complete set of true 3D MD2 models (the original DOOM used scaled bitmaps).

I downloaded it all and now I have great DOOM times. It is still the best FPS out there. Just raw gameplay Smile

And back on topic, if those are the first MODs you ever made then I am impressed Big Grin... Mine were pure rubbish. It looks like you know how to compose music. Do you play guitar, by any chance?

I was sure Smile yo have to play guitar to compose that kind of tune.

Anyhow, 6 megs won't be much to download, and DOOM II will work at the speed of light in your computer. And I can grant you something: This game has nothing to envy to Quake III or Unreal Tournament, when it comes to talk about gameplay.

what u mean fps i know what it is but i mean, its music? anyways mod, is kinda like midi in that its structured music and you use different tracks n instruments, but you can sample anything and use it as instruments intead of just having the generic midi sounds. only thing is theyre a bit bigger.
