from QBasic to MS Access
#1
I'm building an Access database for a small business. The owner currently uses QBasic to store inventory data. I need to import this file to Excel to work with the data. Everything is delimited enough for me to work with, but the costs in the file are converted to some other format than text (looks ling Windows Wingdings). How can I convert these characters to something that I can use so that I don't have to manually enter thousands of records?

that's wierd. could we see the program source, or at least the part where it stores information?
