AAP: 256x224 is easily accomplished by unchaining 13h and setting a few VGA registers. Information about it is available everywhere. Blitz would likely know how to do it, but he doesn't come here anymore...gotta go to badlogic to find him nowadays.

But he uses Rellib+cosmox. So modex ain't an option. Big Grin

I think it's high time a respected assembly programmer takes on a proper ModeX graphics library for QB. I'd do it myself, but only two problems:

-I'm not a respected assembly programmer
-I only code Windows assembly, not DOS assembly

Oh well. Sad

Blitz said that in Pentium class processors, ModeX is very slow. In fact prolly slower than that of SVGA. But a ModeX lib is a welcome lib to me. ;*)
