Cold? How can it be cold? where's all the snow?

Oh, there it is.

Cold? Ha! That looks balmy! Sure, in one picture (or 2) there's alot of snow, but that doesn't mean anything. Up here in sask, my friends and i don't consider it cold unless it hits -25 to -30 celcius. Even then it's just a "wear a winter coat, mitts, and toque" day. Then i'm toasty. The only exception up here is a guy named Mitch. I mean, when he plays hockey he wears two t-shirts, long underwear, gloves, and that's on a WARM day. How can he wear all that stuff? I sweat even with only underwear on. I could never bear even wearing just a t-shirt. How that guy can wear all that stuff beats me.

Needless to say though, It looks beautiful. I'd give almost anything for a trip like that. It'd give me a chance to warm up Wink

don't take any of that personally, i just can't stand to see people say it's cold when it's really not.

barok, and it's people like you that come to Puerto Rico and say it's too hot when it's only 95. And when it's 107 then they melt Wink

Don't come to spain them. We hit 52ºC this August Big Grin. It is just what you are accustomed of. I can't stand 0ºC, and at 10ºC I have to wear a coat.

Wow...at zero Celcius, I'm like "pulease, bring it on". It takes colder air than that to even make me put on a long sleeved shirt, and colder still to don a jacket of some sort Smile Then again, in Vermont, days reaching -20F before the wind chill factor (dunno what this is C off the top of my head) were not uncommon, especially in the Champlain Valley (on a nice large lake in one of the windiest cities in the country), or in the mountains (oi...insane people live there).

Then again, a 95F day and I'm like "please, where's the A/C!" Smile Nevermind even hotter temperatures Big Grin

yeah. tonight i just stepped out and drove to the school in -10. in a t-shirt. but then again, my heat tolerence probably isn't that high. I mean, i swelter at 25-30 celcius. So there's a switch.

lol, cold is being soaking wet with every piece of clothing frozen solid. when ur shoes are so caked with ice they look like clown boots. when ur beard is iced up with snot cicles and frozen breath. 12 degrees with 40 mph wind gusts at 6000 + feet... for 11 hours a day. thats cold.
