Something is seriously screwed up

It's a holdover (backward compatability) from earlier versions of BASIC that used fn at the start of function names.
hrist Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first.(I Timothy 1:15)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.(John 3:16)

Aye. Thanks for the help.
Anyone ever notice the difference in the look of the IDE between 1.1 and 4.5? I sure do, with my 15" LCD - but on my old laptop 11" screen they all looked the same. Smile
f only life let you press CTRL-Z.

Freebasic is like QB, except it doesn't suck.

I remember that problem too, I've stumbled upon it a time or two...

But I don't use the "New SUB" menu function but:
  • 1: I write the DECLARE stuf in the start of my program
2:I write SUB <subname, parameters> and press enter

-And then I have a new sub...
