Quote:Lol - Some days ago I found PB 7 (complete package, with everything, 11 Mbs or so) in Emule. Dowloaded it and the sucker came in a password protected ZIP. There was a TXT file that explained that in order to get the password you had to sign up in some porn sites, so I screwed that

The allure of a no-nonsense compiler is too great, versus a horrible gui. Versus a few hundred bucks which nobody has? The allure always loses......
EDIT: How could you do a dictionary attack versus something that you have to manually enter at a prompt? Hmm......

Wow thanks
I never know how to crack ZIP files. I downloaded a program that claimed (once I ran it) that the time left was around 4 billion days :o .

He used a dictionary search. if the password is not a english word, good luck, and if it throws in hyphens and all those other good stuff that arent letters, and you dont check for them, you could very well leave your computer on for months and not find anything.
That said my computer can run a dictionary search in less than 30 seconds, using picozip, its probably not the fastest, but it does have a very nice gui and no nag.
