Real 3D!
#11
I made a 3D program, for the challenge, but it complied ( for convienience, but only with red/green Sad So all you americans cant use it, sorry...) works AMAZING, though. Uses a torus. Looks like that doughnut is really coming out if the screen!

Quirk: Put the color codes for blue and green in a pair of CONST statements so each user can comment out the wrong color for his geographical zone.

All that double-version thing is a little stupid...

This may be slightly off topic, but I heard on WTOP (Washington's local news radio station... yes I listen to constantly... yes I'm listening to it streaming live now...) about a new LCD screen display that takes a picture taken at two slightly different angles, and switches between them quickly (many many many many times per second) to give the appearence of 3D.

Hm, I should have found a link for this...

I heard of that LCD screen, read it somewhere. Pretty cool stuff.
What I always wondered is how those clear 3D glasses worked. They were just like the red/blue ones, but both were clear and did 3D really well with the comic book it was with.

well, i brought up this topic a while ago, but people think that its not worth buying the supplies to do this. I still think it would be pretty cool. The topic is here. It refers to this site: E-D Glasses.
