I'm working on a shnazzy design for another site, but when I showed it to someone, and he sent me a picture of what he was getting. He has his text size set to larger, and it throws the site's layout off.
How do I make it to where the text size stays put, no matter what the people have their settings on?

Oooh. I used to know how to do this.
Anyways, here is a simple solution:
Tell your friend to set the text size to Medium.

You should rather look into making the design flexible rather than looking to set the font size in stone. With browsers like IE, it will stay the same size but with Mozilla(I'm using Firebird) it will be the size I want it, which I found endlessly helpful too many sites are designed with their own resolution in mind and don't show up properly elsewhere.
