Well...
First, you need QBasic 4.5 or higher...get it at http://qbnz.com, the compilers section.
Second, load your program, go to Run, then go to "Make EXE file".
Done.
f only life let you press CTRL-Z.

Freebasic is like QB, except it doesn't suck.

A, yes...When you click "Make EXE file" on the Run menu, a window will pop up...make sure you have "Create stand-alone EXE", not "Create EXE requiring BRUN45.EXE"...

Ah, you mean an install.exe or setup.exe program, that contains all your files, and when you run it it installs?
Yeah, I think I mentioned that...What I meant is...
If you have a program, say, a game, that played music in the background. And you need a userfriendly, simple program that gives you a menu, and you pick which soundcard you have from it, etc...
Well, you can create a very easy-to-use interface...using Visual Basic for DOS (VBDOS). I'm not sure where you can get it. But I don't think it's what you want...all it does is allow you to make a very simple GUI (graphical user interface, like Windows)...It doesn't integrate any "Install" or "Soundcard-settings" changer...you would have to make that yourself.
