some times i need all them windows when i'm pulling lost of info for work stuffs. genneraly i try and keep it low it's just when you need it and one program goes crazy the whole system goes down with it. best soloution is to reinstal, it's been 2 years since.

i have this ad-ware scanner that says checking memory for ad-ware/spy-ware. is it actualy checking the memory then?

Diroga, you are prolly running out of RAM. Download Rambooster. Its a software which will free up RAM when it falls below a critical level. Also, you should shutdown programs like ad-aware and stuff. Keeping too many background scanners will slow down your system.

I too use adaware but I dont keep it on background scanning. I run it once in a while and remove the adware/spyware on my computer =P.
