I forgot to mention. ie doesnt do any image processing which may result in loss in picture quality esp colors.

I used Photoshop, yeah.

IE messes colours when the screen colour depth is 8 bits (256 colours). It will do fine with a Photoshop optimized image, as it guarantees that #00008C will be exactly the same as it is rendered by your browser. Colour management in Photoshop is amazing.

Well, I dunno..I'm using a top-of-the-line LCD moniter, and Photoshop 7, and IE6, windows XP...and the colors display differently.
f only life let you press CTRL-Z.
