One word of caution for all the SHELL users. When your program gets big you wont be able to launch a shell so basically any command you may rely on wont work =P. Also, IMHO there is no way of checking whether a SHELL command was successfull. I too agree with plasma(mmm....plasma) about using interrupts rather than SHELLs =).
