Rel, you're absolutely right. And zack, as you yourself have admitted that you failed at just about every program you tried to make. Doesnt that indicate something =P?

My problem is that if I delve into code, then go back, I already have these vague ideas in my head - and they mislead me.

But there isnt much choice. You cant just theoretically do everything and just write code and expect it to work. It will have bugs and flaws which no one can anticipate(not really). You will have to test it and refine it using the trial and error method =).

Of course I code! I just wait before I do...at the end of each chapter in a book, I look back at what they've covered (unless it's how to declare vars or whatever Tongue ), then I code some program that includes all the techniques and commands/functions covered in that chapter.
