Nah, it works you just need to use a hex editor, not notepad.

That wouldn't make a difference, I don't think. I mean, you're replacing one character, you aren't changing the length of the file, so...

It makes a tremendous difference. Notepad does not save in binary format, and some characters are going to be misrepresented. The old EDIT had a binary mode which you could do some changes like this in. I just use YAHE (Yet Another Hex Editor) for hex editing DOS files.

i changed a letter and when i ran it it opened
'UNTITLSD'

then i changed another and it froze my computer hehehe
