I wrote this tiny tutorial about a technique which will allow up to 16 megs in CODE.
Check at the tutorials section of my site! (

Good tutorial.
Before I kind of was unsure how to use 'em, but now I know.
Peace cannot be obtained without war. Why? If there is already peace, it is unnecessary for war. If there is no peace, there is already war."

Some people may know this already, but I guess most people don't. I think this is gonna give new life to the QB developing.

Great tutorial on a interesting subject. Now the only problem is to write enough code to get over that "16MB goal-line" before anyone else does it

Nathan,
Thanks for the excellent tutorial. Real handy info for when you need it.
I have a question. Must you use the LINK.EXE that comes with PDS 7.0? Will it work on older linkers?

It works with older linkers as well (7.1 and VBDOS).
Now many problems are solved, aren't they?

Speaking of memory limitations:
QB 7.1 can compile OS/2 protected mode programs, and Windows can run those right?
The problem is, everybody's copy of BC7 is installed without OS/2 support... I'd like to get my hands on some original install disks or a full install and see how well that works.

I am also looking for install disks. The versions I have on my site are just zipped versions. My PDS 7.1 is a big package, have you checked if it is a complete install?
