Screen grabbing in QB?
#11
^^^ Is this a one-liner that should be trashed??

... or does it convey enough about barok's thoughts on VGSCAP?

erm...oracle, he was describing what Zack meant by 'chunky'. He wasnt refering to VGSCAP.

Zack, could you post the 'chunky' picture? I have never experienced that in screen 13 [in a windowed dos box]

No, what I mean is that someone suggested I just make it a windowed dos window, take a regular snapshot (by pressing Printscreen) and then magnifying it.
Two reasons why I can't do that:
XP doesn't allow me to view any screen mode other than text in a windowed dos window.
It will appear to be blocky and chunky after magnification.

It wont matter whether you take the screenie in full screen(320x240) or windowed mode because in the end you're going to end up with a 320x240 screenie.

And the fact that you're xp doesnt allow you to view anything in gfx mode while the dos box is windowed then that method is just out of the question.

Bingo.
Also, more nitpicking on my part: 320x200, not 240. Smile
VGSCAP solved it all, though/ Smile

I'm pretty sure it's a driver issue...it worked for me before, and then I reinstalled Windows and upgraded my drivers and now it locks up.
