Computer trouble: booting from cdrom
#1
I recently formatted a computer and I have to install win 95 or 98.
I cannot boot from the cdrom so I have some sort of boot floppy that
should take care of that...
The problem is that the boot disk doesn't find the cd-rom, I don't think
the correct drivers is on the floppy Sad . I suppose I have to
download the drivers somewhere, and install them. How?
I don't have the cd specs here but I'm quite sure it's an IDE one
but I don't know the brand...
Thanks in advance...

that sounds odd....the boot disk just installs generic ATAPI drivers for the cdrom. you can go to http://www.bootdisk.com and see if you can get abootdisk or the generic cdrom drivers.
