Guitar songs
#1
Okay I've been looking for a couple guitar songs to learn to impress myself and some family... I got the following down pretty much perfect:

Finger plucking:
Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin
Nothing else Matters by Metallica
Drive by Incubus (starting to learn intro, sounds real nice)

Chord Progression:
Black by Pearl Jam (or Aaron Lewis's is better)
Last Kiss by Pearl Jam
Elderly Woman by Pearl Jam
Mr Jones by Counting Crows
Losing my Religion by REM

All of those are incredibly fun to play and great sounding... however I am looking to expand my horizons... Does anyone know of any similarly played songs? I looked through my whole base of music on my comp and those were all I found that would sound good on accoustic! Can you believe it? I certainly can. God speed to the Queen.

Also, I can try to record myself playing some of those songs if anyone is particularly interested in hearing them, however doubt that I may...

I know nothing about guitar playing, so I don't know if this is difficult, but here:
-I haven't seen you in a long time, by Great Big Sea.
-Chop Suey, by System of a Down

When you master the main riff of "Geek U.S.A." you can consider you a good guitarist Tongue

I'm surprised that "Wish You were Here" by pink floyd hasn't been mentioned as that's an easy one.

"Bleed" - Cold
"3 Libras" - A perfect Circle

those are all easy to play as I can play them and I suck at guitar.

¡ah! so this is 'bout easy songs!

Well, then learn Lithium. It is a nice song and very easy to play. It comes in the worst Nirvana record (Nevermind) but it is one of the best. (yeah, punch me, I love Nirvana, that's why I think that Nevermind is their worst record. It is the most commercial, the less Nirvana. In Utero and Bleach were far better, even Incesticide is more enjoyable... I still like Nevermind, but I like the other three best. Now you can kill me Big Grin).

If any of you who have listed some songs to play, if you have the tab for it, can you post it in here in [ code ] form please? My internet is limited lately as my own computer is messing up lately, so I can only go on sometimes... If you could all post each song's tab for me in here, I could print it all out at once and it would be helpful!

Also, I just came up with this soft song that's just argapiating and it sounds great anyways, I want to show it to you if anyone recognizes it... It sounds so familiar so I figured that like all other things I've created, it was probably something I heard before and stored in my subconscious and thought was my own creation.

Code:
|----------0-|-----------0-|-----------1-|-----------3-|
|----------1-|-----------0-|-----------1-|-----------3-|
|-------0----|---------0---|---------2---|---------0---|
|-----2------|-------2-----|-------3-----|-------0-----|
|-3----------|-----2-------|-----3-------|-----2-------|
|------------|-0-----------|-1-----------|-3-----------|

It's played in the Nothing Else Matters way where you go dun... dundundun dunnnnnn, dun dun dun, dun dun dun, if you know what I mean.
