Actually its the negligence on the part of the Van operator not to maintain their cars well enough. I should sue them but this is the Philippines. :*(

Jeepney not jeeper. :*)

I was riding a commuter van as i was very late. Had to review a buch of Nursing student entrants to qualify for a National Nursing Aptitude Test.

I still got on time though. Cuz after the crash, I went on to ride a jeepney. ;*)

Bad luck, you should have been driving instead maybe? Then you could have stopped the car in time Smile

There's a good advert on TV in NZ at the moment. It show two cars travelling along a road, one at 60kph and the other at 65. Then an obstruction appears, and they react and break at the same time, both the same distance from the obstruction. The car doing 65 hits at 32kph, and the one doing 60 hits at only 5kph, which really shows how just a little bit of caution can really be a good thing.

theres an advert in the britain, with some lads in the car and the guy in the back don't wear a seatbelt and dies when they hit another car. Then it rewinds and starts again and he puts the seat belt on and he's allright. Again there was another advert ages ago aslo in the uk when a parent picks up the kids and the kid in the back don't put his seatbelt on, anyway driving along and they have an accident. The kid survives but crushes his mum as he flies forward.

"Drive at just below the speed limit be alert , very alert" my dads words that. Wise man he is. With that philosphy he has never been in a car crash thats his fault. Started driving at 17 and is 49 now.

Accidents are more likely when there's a varience in speed, not necessarily a fast speed. But if you do get in an accident, the faster you're going, the worse off you are.

I'd get that shin checked out. Those injuries really do suck Tongue We don't have seatbelts on our buses eithers, but the drivers have a ton of training.

some of the buses in britain have them and if they have them by law you have to wear them

Joe: The driver is on seatbelts, the passengers didn't because there is non for us. And its actually punishable here for a driver not to wear seatbelts but not for passengers. :*(

Shin's getting better though. Celebrated me daughters b-day. :*)

That sucks dude. Here by law the people sitting in front must wear seat belts but not necessary for people sitting in the back seat. The funny part is that there is so much congestion on the roads that you cant drive very fast =P.

How old is she now?
