book for VB 4.0

Are there any good books on Visual Basic?? I have VB 4.0. Any books like QBasic by example?? I found that it was very helpful.

You'll find VB very simple and really well documented. You don't need a book. In most cases, looking specific info for what you want to do will suffice.

I had never coded in VB when in 2001 I had to do a project for one of the math subjects we had in college, and me and my mate chose to make it in VB so it would feature a nice visual UI and stuff. I installed VB6 and started with an easy tutorial. Then I needed to make a picture box with scroll bars, so I opened google and typed "Visual Basic Picturebox with toolbars" et voila... and so forth.

A good starter's plan is http://www.zetnet.co.uk/rad/tutvb4.html . It is small and stupid, but may introduce you to the world.

MSDN is your friend, as well.
