Farmers protesting the government (again? still?) in Ottawa. They make an ad-hock gallows and hung a like-ness of that slimey-corrupt-rat-bastard-crook-couldn't-get-elected-so-cheated-his-way-into-office Paul Martin. (I tell ya, I supported that party for 15 years, but now with him in charge I'm not voting for them again).
Anyway, most any other 'democratic' country where you suggested doing such things to the leader of the country you would be arrested and charged with treason.
*Here* the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police, basically the Canadian country-wide Civillian Military Police (ie: FBI, CIA, National Guard all rolled into one)) actually *protected* them and kept people away while they protested. Never see that in the US ;P
