So not using IE makes you more leet or something?

I am using IE and having 0 (zero) problems.

Why I use it? Because I click on the icon and it pops up instantly. Mozilla, Netscape, Opera... take a bit to run.

Windows can be crap and stuff, but 90% of people blame Windows for their own faults Tongue

You can load mozilla in so it starts quicker too, just like with the other browsers. Just at the moment you're loading IE in Wink

I use mozilla because it's support for web standards is very important for me. And the popup killing. And the tabbed browsing (but I'm told this can be done with IE). But mainly because of the standards, because it crashes less for me and because it's so easy to extend.

Nah, its fine to use the browser you like, but I feel very annoyed when people seem to say that using Windows XP and IE is noob's stuff. I'm not pointing to you, I just wanted to know Smile I know many people at college who feel "more 'leet" just 'cause they replaced the shell or 'cause they use Netscape instead of IE, Trillian instead of MSN Messenger and Edonkey instead of Emule... :rotfl:

Emule is actually a replacement for Edonkey Tongue

But yeah, I use IE. And Outlook Express. And I like them. So there.

Heh... well I like IE and all that stuff too. I think I kind of like how IE is integrated into Windows. For example, if open up My Computer and then start looking for some file, or something and suddenly I feel like heading over to QbasicNews, I don't have to find my shortcut to Mozilla or whatever. Instead I just have to type in 'www.qbasicnews.com' in the address bar which is already there or select it from the Favourites menu which is also already there. But yeah, for me integration into Windows is a big "selling" point. I tried to replace IE with Mozilla a while back but it just didn't feel quite the same. Also, I kind of prefer how 90% of the webpages out there look in IE.

Two things I have to give Mozilla credit for are it's support for web standards and it's popup stopping. I keep Mozilla installed for web development purposes and I use Mozilla when I start searching for software cracks or something (most of those kinds of websites are loaded with popups so it really helps).

Well said, man! Well said!
A lot of people just download 20GB of music, and another 10GB of programs off Kazaa, without a clue, and they each have 10 viruses infecting them. They blame the problems on...Windows! People just annoyedly click "Yes" to "Do you want to install Uberleet PopupBlocker 5?" in webpages. They blame it on Windows. People can't connect to MSN Messenger -- "Blah, Windoze suxx". Guess what - they have some really high setting enabled on ZoneAlarm.
Anyway, the reason people don't get so many problems with Linux and such is mainly because Linux users tend all to be savvy. That is, computer-wise. Not saying Windows users aren't, just saying that pretty much ALL Linuxers are computer savvy, and only some are with Windows.

I know, I know, my point is that Edonkey was a hell to work with (had to use some odd bots to keep track of connections) and Emule made it easy. But that kind of people feel more leet keeping using Edonkey.

Linux can be beaten as well by an unexperienced user. The trick is that Linux is only used by linux phreaks (no offense intended Wink) who know what they are doing (anyhow, when you are new to linux [i.e. becoming a linux phreak, 'cause linux has linuxine, an addictive substance] you fsck it up 100 times before having a stable installation with everything working). Windows is used by millions of pimps who don't know what they are doing. Easy math.
