Photoshop-doing stuff on top of lines? not antialiasing em'?
#1
Two questions about the line tool in PS7:
1) When I draw a line, and then try to do something on top of that layer (smudge, blur, tools like that), it gives me an error "Could not use the [blur, smudge, whichever] tool because the content of the layer is not directly editable." So how do I blur and smudge lines?
2) How do I draw *not* antialiased lines?

1.- You can create lines in three kinds of ways. You are creating a shape layer, most likely. On the tool options (just beneath the menu) you'll notice three buttons at the left (from left to right: one with a square with the vertices highlighted, another one with a pen on it, and then a plain square). To draw a line using pixels use the third button (the one on the right).

2.- In the same tool options bar there is a checkbox that says "antialiased". Just uncheck it.
