'Cause Masamune is a kind of sword, 'cause it is an ancient "brand" (to name it somehow) of legendary samurai swords (named after the "designer" or first builder), like you say "it is a stratocaster guitar" and it doesn't have to be a Fender Stratocaster, just have the same design.
