Field count can be the number of characters in a field, but I'm not quite sure.

I'm assuming its the number of fields you want in your table.

User_DB
Name
Password
Email
etc.

First of all, does Lycos even allow MySQL? Heh, I bet those bastards don't even allow the use of the suffix html instead of htm Wink

Anyways forums are a lot more work than you realize buddy. Try looking at the old SephForum at qb45.com (or .net, whichever one till exists). Smile

Yup. In fact, lycos offer too much things, IMHO. They let you use PHP3 or PHP4, hotlink images and TXTs, unlimited bandwidth, no pupups (some floating banners that last 10 seconds), and they let you configure MYSQL databases (very basic, but you won't need more to install, for example, PHPBB). They are using some kind of "frame banner" in the .co.uk and .com domains, but in the spanish server (usuarios.lycos.es/...) there is no such banner frame.
