i took the link to qbasic station on the qbasicnews.com front page and then i downloaded qbasic 7.1 it won't let me install it cause it says insert disk 1 but all the files are in the same folder waht do i do

ok, what do u mean, do you have the zip file and can't unextract it, i am using winrar and it works fine.

when it is unextracted, ou have to change the working directory and cmd line of the qbx.exe to where ever you have the files

if thats wrong, just browse the directory...its open...and BC7 or sumthing like that should b there....its just slef-extract and use

QB 7.1's installer expects to be installed from floppy disks and bitches if it isn't. Either copy the files to floppy disks, or learn to use SUBST.

I think I put my files all in my D:\ partition (not inside any folders just D:\) Then I was able to get them to open one at a time. Was a while ago I did it...

The D:\ should act just like the A:\ I think. C:\ might work too if you don't have a D:\
