#1
My simple program sends data through com1 from computer A to computer B but does not work from computer B to A. Any recommendations?

Sorry folks that was hardware problem, solved now.

BUT QUESTIONS CONTININUE TO COME UP . Is there a way to go up to the limit of RS232 speed , 115000 bps?. 9600 seems too slow even for small data packages.

AFAIK 9600 is the upper limit you can reach with QB only, I'm
pretty sure though that I saw an article describing how to break
that limit with call absolute or something like that, but I don't
have any link -sorry

EDIT::Someone posted about breaking the limit
in your other post...

BBQ: OK and thanks for the hint. I assumed that if newbies can not solve the problem maybe the upper echelons can. Seems that I am a newbie, not only in programming>

The people that post answers, and sometimes questions, in the newbie forum, are the same people posting answers and questions here.

The regulars usually check all forums, to see if there's anything interessting going on.
