Yup! Pedro Almodovar won the Oscar for "Talk to her". And I bet he would have won the "best director" if he had been from the U.S. . The film is one of the most beautiful flicks I've seen in the last years.
You people should go and watch more spanish movies. They rock! Check out "Sex & Lucia".

No, not best foreign film but best writing. It was nominated to best writing(screenplay) and best director.

I just can't belive "Lovers of the Artic circle" never were nominated for the Oscar.It's from the guy who directed Sex & Lucia.
I think "Lovers of the Artic Circle" is the best love story ever.Then again I didn't had a chance to see "Talk to Her " but clips I saw don't make me interested.Just don't like the idea of a girl in a coma and a guy inloved with her.
Uh...I should see the movie first before saying anything about it.
