In order to make it work, I would need the VB program to run on the server at all times. Apparently I'd need to have physical access to the server to do that. So it's out of the question. And I can't use a PHP script because I'd have to deal with all that crappy header stuff. So screw it.
Now, a more fun project would be a chat client. Perhaps an IRC clone. I'd definately be interested in a miniIRC project, but would anyone else be? What's the difference between anyone else's and mine, you ask? Nothing. Except I'm a slightly crappier coder as we all know than most people who have attempted this. That's all, nothing more. So anyone willing to partake?
