larger font

There was recent question regarding display of larger fonts -- I may have overlooked the answer in the replies, but it is something I also need information on (I'm trying to display larget numbers as part of a test).

Thanks!

no solution, you're going to have to make your own routine. you could always change the width size but you couldnt have fonts of different sizes on the same screen. your only option is to either use your own font routines or change the bios font to something with numbers made up of more than one character in the extended range.

If you plan to do this in text mode (screen 0) there is routine that can do that. I don't have it anymore (lost it when my old 386's harddisk crashed Cry ). I thought I found it in an ABC packet or on qbasic.com.

just type in width 40 if you want the font bigger in dos, but that means you can't use multiple sizes on the same screen. if ou want to, you're going to have to make yourself a 16x32 set, split it into fours and make a new character set with those in the extended characters.
